I have not been to Taco Pete's in over 20 years my grandson had a game in that area today and I stopped and had the taco special Dill taste the same great flavor good customer service I'll be back
Always gonna grab some OG Taco Pete when I'm in the area! The last time I was here was at their OG location on the corner of 120th and Central Ave. I love the upgrade to the menu and the new location, the service was A1 and quick I waited maybe 5 minutes for 4 tacos. I ordered the 1x Beef, 1x Turkey, 1x Shredded Chicken and 1x Birria hard shell tacos. The birria was a new one i hadn't seen. I didn't like it, the birria consume made the shell soggy and the beef wasn't tender. The shredded chicken one was kinda dry but it still smacked. My favorites were the ground beef and ground turkey, well seasoned juicy and tender these pair well with their guacamole salsa. It's bussin', trust me.
I had Taco Pete for the first time yesterday and I wasn't disappointed. I decided to visit the location after seeing Slink Johnson make a Taco Tuesday post. However, when I arrived I saw so much more on the menu. I ordered tacos but also decided to try the pastrami chili cheese fries. They were 10/10
A client told me to try them.amd I'm so.glad I did. Very friendly customer service and ample parking. I ordered the turkey taco special which comes with three tacos filled with guacamole, cheese, sour cream and fries and a drink. My total was about 20 dollars. They do not skimp on the portions. Each taco was stuffed and brimming with flavor! I got full after 2 tacos. Fries reminded me of the OG World on Wheels fries. They were a nice throw back. The cashier was very friendly and her nails were POPPING!!!!! They were gorgeous! I waited about 12 to 15 minutes because they make everything fresh. Food was still hot after a made another stop before home. I will definitely come again and maybe order the turkey burger. I'm sure it's gonna be fire! I wish they did nachos and taquitos! That would be AMAZING! They should also bring back the OG orange drink that kinda tastes like oranges n cream. These would make great additions!
Tacos are continuing to improve and the chatty burger never disappoint Food 10/10 Service 10/10 Ambiance 10/10 Customer service is always A1
